Table booking system for restaurants

A table booking system takes your guests' reservations, keeps track of which tables are free, and helps staff run the dining room during service. Dinebase does all of that in one system — with no per-guest commission and no need to sit on a booking marketplace.

What a table booking system needs to do

  • Take bookings around the clock straight from the restaurant's own website.
  • Show real availability based on tables, sections and seatings.
  • Send email confirmations and SMS reminders.
  • Give staff a clear view of the day: list, timeline and floor plan.
  • Cut no-shows with reminders, card capture and deposits.
  • Report on covers, no-shows and trends over time.

How Dinebase works

You build your dining room as a floor plan with tables and sections. The booking widget goes on your website and only offers times you can actually take. During service, staff work in a live view where guests are seated, moved and checked in. Guests get an email confirmation and — on Dinebase and Pro — an SMS reminder before they arrive.

What it costs

Pricing is per restaurant location, billed monthly or yearly (yearly saves around 15%). Dinebase Lite is 50 SEK per month plus 5 SEK per confirmed booking and suits smaller venues. Dinebase is 900 SEK per month with unlimited bookings. Dinebase Pro is 1,700 SEK per month and adds card capture, deposits and late-cancel fees. SMS is billed separately. Prices exclude VAT.

No commission per guest

Booking marketplaces usually charge per guest they send and own the guest relationship. Dinebase is the opposite: bookings happen on your own site, the guest data is yours, and the cost is predictable however full you are.

Frequently asked questions

Can guests book directly on our own website?

Yes. The booking widget goes on your existing site and the booking happens there, with no detour via a marketplace.

Does it handle multiple seatings per evening?

Yes. Availability is calculated from tables, sections and booking length, so the same table can be sold several times in an evening.

How quickly can we start?

Most restaurants set up the dining room, opening hours and widget in an afternoon. The trial is 30 days on Lite and 14 days on Dinebase and Pro.
